Combine & split
Join several PDFs, or keep a range or list of pages from one PDF as a new file. Page ranges are written like 1-3,7.
- Merge PDF Join 2 to 20 PDFs into one, in the order you arrange them. Each page keeps its own size.
- Split PDF Cut a page range, such as 3-7, out of a PDF into a new file. One range gives one PDF.
- Extract PDF Pages Pick pages from a PDF with a list like 1, 3, 5-7. They come back as one new PDF in the order you type them.
Convert
Turn pages into images or images into a PDF.
- PDF to JPG Turn the first page of a PDF into a JPG at 150 DPI. Only page 1 is converted, and there is no resolution setting.
- PDF to PNG Turn the first page of a PDF into a PNG at 150 DPI, with crisp text and no JPG artifacts. Only page 1 is converted.
- JPG to PDF Put one JPG on one PDF page. The JPG is embedded as it is, and the page takes the picture's own proportions.
- PNG to PDF Put one PNG on one PDF page without quality loss. Transparency is kept, and 16-bit or interlaced PNGs are rejected.
- Image to PDF Combine multiple JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP, or GIF images into one PDF — free and fast.
Compress
Reduce the size of a PDF that is too large to email or upload.
Edit
Turn every page by a fixed angle, edit the text on a page, delete blank pages, or flatten form fields and annotations into the page.
- Rotate PDF Turn every page of a PDF by 90, 180 or 270 degrees clockwise. All pages turn together; there is no single-page option.
- PDF Text Editor Click a line of text in your PDF, change or delete it, or add new text, then download the result. It all happens in your browser.
- Remove Blank Pages from PDF Find blank and nearly blank pages in a PDF, review them as thumbnails with their ink percentage, and remove the ones you confirm. Sensitivity adjustable. In your browser.
- Flatten PDF Turn form fields and annotations (stamps, highlights, ink, shapes) into ordinary page content so a PDF looks the same everywhere. Explains what changes, including signatures. In your browser.
Extract
Pull the text or the embedded images out of a PDF.
Prepare for print or mail
Add bleed and crop marks, check an envelope window, put several pages on a sheet or make a booklet, change the page size, or make a PDF grayscale or black and white for printing.
- PDF Bleed Adder Add bleed (default 3 mm) and optional crop marks to every page of a PDF without scaling the content. Preview before and after. In your browser.
- Address Window Position Checker Measure the address block of a letter against your target DIN 5008 window area. You enter the window rectangle in mm; the tool measures the clearances. No built-in DIN figures; not a DIN 5008 conformance test.
- PDF N-Up & Booklet Maker Put 2, 4, 6, 8, 9 or 16 pages on one sheet, or impose a folded booklet in the right printing order with blank-page padding. Margins, gutter, orientation, preview. In your browser.
- PDF Page Resizer Put every page of a PDF on A4, Letter or a custom paper size: fit, fill, centre or stretch, with a before/after report of page sizes. Text and vectors stay sharp. In your browser.
- PDF to Grayscale / Black & White Make a PDF grayscale or black and white. Choose a grey appearance that keeps text and links, or rebuild the pages as grey or pure black-and-white images. In your browser.
Inspect & check
Read information about a PDF, or check its pages and structure, without changing it.
- PDF Information Read a PDF's page count, version, encryption flag and file size. The file is uploaded briefly and nothing is kept.
- PDF Page Size Analyzer List the width, height, orientation and paper size of every page in a PDF, and see whether the sizes are mixed.
- PDF Text Density Checker Check whether a PDF's pages have real extractable text or are likely scanned images — free and instant.
- PDF Duplicate Page Finder Find pages that are duplicated inside a single PDF — free and instant.
- PDF Structure & Validity Checker Check a PDF's internal structure for damage most viewers silently repair and never tell you about — free and instant.
Which tool do I need?
-
I have several PDFs and need one file
Use Merge PDF. Combines up to 20 files in the order you give.
-
I need only some pages of a PDF
Use Extract PDF Pages. Keeps the pages you list as one new PDF. Split PDF uses the same method with a single range such as 3-7.
-
A PDF is too large to email
Use Compress PDF. Re-compresses the images inside the file. If that cannot make it smaller, you get the original back unchanged.
-
A scanned PDF came out sideways
Use Rotate PDF. Turns every page by 90, 180 or 270 degrees; it cannot rotate a single page.
-
I want to copy the text out
Use PDF to Text. Reads the existing text layer. For a scan with no text, use the PDF Text Editor and its OCR.
-
I need a PDF as a picture
Use PDF to JPG. PDF to PNG keeps sharp text and line art cleaner, at a larger file size.
-
A PDF will not open or looks damaged
Use PDF Structure & Validity Checker. Checks the file structure and reports what is wrong.
-
A scan has empty pages between the real ones
Use Remove Blank Pages from PDF. Shows every page with its ink percentage and removes only the ones you confirm.
-
I want a small folded booklet or two pages per sheet
Use PDF N-Up & Booklet Maker. Puts pages in the right printing order, pads to a multiple of four and reports the page count.
-
A US Letter PDF has to print on A4 paper
Use PDF Page Resizer. Redraws every page on the new size without distorting it, with a before and after report.
-
A filled form looks different in another viewer
Use Flatten PDF. Turns fields and annotations into page content. Digital signatures do not survive.
-
My printer asks for 3 mm bleed
Use PDF Bleed Adder. Adds bleed and optional crop marks without scaling the page. It does not convert colours or make a PDF/X.
