Payments & QR

A payment QR code saves the payer from typing an IBAN, and two European standards cover most invoices: the EPC QR code (known as GiroCode) for euro transfers in the SEPA area, the Swiss QR-bill for payments in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, and national codes in Czechia (QR platba) and Slovakia (PAY by square). These tools create, place, read and check them, open bank statement and payment files, and decode GS1 product barcodes.

Everything runs in your browser. The payment details you type, and the PDFs and images you open, are not uploaded, stored, logged or sent to analytics. Each tool says which guideline it follows: EPC069-12 version 3.0 for the EPC QR code, and version 2.4 of the SIX Implementation Guidelines for the Swiss QR-bill, which applies from 14 November 2026.

Banks and banking apps apply their own rules, so a code that follows the guideline can still be handled differently. Test with the apps your payers use.

Which tool do I need?

  • I want a QR code my customers can scan to pay in euro

Use EPC QR / GiroCode Generator. Builds the code to the EPC guideline and checks the IBAN and every field limit as you type.

  • I have an invoice PDF and want the code on it

Use Add GiroCode to PDF Invoice. Places the code on a preview, finds blank space, and gives you a new PDF.

  • A Swiss QR-bill is rejected and I do not know why

Use Swiss QR-Bill Reader & Checker. Reads the code and names the rule that fails, such as a QR-IBAN used with the wrong reference type.

  • I want to create a Swiss QR-bill or add one to my invoice

Use Swiss QR-Bill Generator & Add-to-PDF. Builds the payment part and receipt to guideline 2.4 and can place it at the bottom of an invoice PDF.

  • My customers are in Czechia or Slovakia

Use QR Platba & PAY by square Generator. Makes a Czech SPAYD code or a Slovak PAY by square code, which are not the same as an EPC QR code.

  • I want to see what is inside the GiroCode on an invoice

Use EPC QR / GiroCode Reader. Decodes the code, checks the IBAN and shows every field with copy buttons.

  • My bank sent a camt.053 XML and I want to see it in Excel

Use camt.053 Viewer & Excel/CSV Converter. Shows balances and entries and exports XLSX or CSV. Also reads camt.052 and camt.054.

  • My bank rejected a payment file

Use pain.001 Payment File Checker. Checks counts, control sums, IBANs, duplicates and address forms. It is a pre-check, not a bank validator.

  • I have a GS1 barcode and want to read the batch and expiry

Use GS1 Barcode & Digital Link Decoder. Explains every Application Identifier and checks the check digits.
