List the pages you want, for example 1, 3, 5-7, and download them as one new PDF. The pages come out in the order you type them, so you can also use this to reorder a document or repeat a page. It does not remove pages in place: the original file is not changed, and you get a new file containing only what you named.

Overview
About Extract PDF Pages
What the list can do
The page list accepts single pages, ranges and any mix, separated by commas, with or without spaces. Because the pages are written out in the order you type them, the list is also a small page editor. These are the results from our test with a 10-page PDF whose pages say which page they are:
| You type | Pages in the new PDF |
|---|---|
| 1, 3, 5-7 | 5 pages: 1, 3, 5, 6, 7 |
| 3,1,3 | 3 pages: 3, 1, 3 (reordered, and page 3 repeated) |
| 2-4 | 3 pages: 2, 3, 4 |
The pages are copied rather than redrawn, so text stays selectable and images are not recompressed. The original numbering is not carried over; the new file starts at page 1.
To delete pages, list the ones to keep
There is no "remove pages" field. To drop page 4 from a 6-page PDF, extract 1-3, 5-6. If you want the page numbers written down first, PDF Information gives the total.
What gets refused
The list is checked against the real page count before anything is done. Page 0, a backwards range such as 5-2, a page beyond the end (page 11 of 10), letters, and an open-ended range such as 8- are all refused with a message. Ranges need an explicit last page. The guide PDF page ranges explained has the full syntax.
Related jobs
To keep a single block of pages and nothing else, Split PDF does the same thing with a range such as 3-7. After extracting, you can join the results with Merge PDF, or shrink them with Compress PDF. To find repeated pages worth leaving out, try the PDF Duplicate Page Finder.

Good to Know
Limitations
One output PDF per run. Every range needs an explicit end page (8- is refused). Page numbers are checked against the real page count, so one beyond the end is refused. There is no "delete pages" field; list the pages to keep instead. Password-protected PDFs are rejected.
Files are processed on our servers and are not shared with third parties. Files are deleted as soon as processing or download finishes. Any leftover temporary file is removed automatically by our cleanup process within the configured retention period (60 minutes). See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I pick pages that are not next to each other?
Yes. Type a list such as 1, 3, 5-7. They come out as one PDF.
Can I change the order of pages?
Yes. Pages are written in the order you type them: 3,1,3 gave pages 3, 1, 3 in our test, so you can reorder or repeat pages.
How do I delete a page?
List every page you want to keep. To drop page 4 from a 6-page PDF, type 1-3, 5-6.
What is the difference from Split PDF?
Both use the same method and accept the same input. This page is aimed at lists of scattered pages and reordering; Split PDF is aimed at one range such as 3-7.
Why was my page list refused?
Page 0, a backwards range, a page past the end of the document, letters, or a range with no end page like 8- are refused with a message that says which part is wrong.
